Jaryd Chetty – Chief Executive Officer

Jaryd is a seasoned senior legal professional with a strong legal, regulatory and commercial background from tier 1 law firms and corporates including EY, QBE and Chubb. He has worked on major national matters and played a key role in building in-house legal teams.

He has led projects such as the ASIC Pricing Review, the Royal Commission into Financial Services, and Covid-related business interruption disputes. His work covers many industries, construction, auditing, telecommunications, property, consulting and insurance, amongst others.

This mix of legal skills and corporate exposure gives Jaryd a deep understanding of business operations and the expectations of in-house counsel. He is recognised as one of Australia’s leading in-house corporate lawyers for his expertise and ability to deliver lasting outcomes.

John Edmond – Chairman 

John is a highly regarded law firm leader. A litigator by trade, he is a leading expert in commercial litigation.

John is currently the chairman of Gilchrist Connell. He began his career at Clyde & Co in London before moving to Sydney in 1998. From 2009, he was the national leader of the insurance and reinsurance practice at Allens Arthur Robinson. In 2012 he set up Clyde & Co in Australia and was the managing partner there until 2017.
